We are a newly created full-service publishing house looking to add new and aspiring authors.
Our mission is to help new and aspiring writers become published authors. We know how difficult it is for new writers to get into big publishing houses. Their criteria are high, and sometimes the benefits are not worth the effort. You can submit your book to hundreds of publishers and never receive a response. Then, even if you are accepted, they have so many hoops to jump through and stipulations to follow; you wonder if it’s even worth the trouble, not to mention the high fees and low royalty payouts. And in the end, you still have to promote your book yourself.
So what’s the point?
Well, for one thing, being a published author under a publishing house gives you the recognition, authority, and ability to place your book into retail stores. Secondly, people are likelier to take your work seriously if you write under a publishing house and not just self-publish. Thirdly, a publishing house develops its’ writers. They will help you at every step to ensure you deliver quality, error-free work.
Publishing houses offer tools and services you would have to pay for as a self-published author, such as editing, proofreading, and cover design. A publishing company creates your image and carefully crafts your brand. So, as you can see, the benefits are great, but landing a publishing contract is hard work.
Here at McClaven Publishing House, our goal is to find the diamonds in the rough, those who possess the ability to cultivate harmonic sounds with the stroke of the pen or the click of their keyboard. The undiscovered and often overlooked talent. Then, take that person and mold them into the next best-selling author.
We have opened our publishing house to cater to individuals with the passion and talent to be published but not the opportunity. Our mission is to help you become a successful published author!

To get started, take some time to complete the form under the “For Authors ” page. If picked, you will be contacted and asked to go through a mini-interview lasting about 15-20 mins to see if you are a right fit. After which, you will receive a contract and a 60-minute one-on-one coaching session to help you develop a strong outline and title.

If you are not contacted, it may be for many reasons, such as no space available, we have reached our author limit for the year, or something else. Do not get discouraged. Just wait a few months and try again.
For those who are chosen remember, book publishing is a lengthy process. It may take as little as 3 months or as long as two years, depending on many factors. Such as how fast you write, the quality of your manuscript, the design and the development process, editing, and various other factors.
